Instead of going to E3, Gamescom, or TGS, Phil decided to bring the convention experience to his living room--replete with cardboard game standees, inexplicable cosplay, and dramatic keynote appearances with plastic weapons--but he failed to realize that doing so during his grandmother's birthday party was not quite the way to reach an "audience."

The jovial mood of Venom's birthday celebration was nearly ruined after Femshep warned him about shooting one's eye out.

Whilst Sporting his hanover Cougars T-shirt and arriving armed and ready to the First Season Game of Thrashball post E-Day, Venom was disappointed to see that "Sera-CON," (Sera's Gaming convention) Was being held instead. With a bit of reluctance, he decided to check out the game floor, with a particular interest in something called "Mass Effect."
