We visiting our local GameStop and Best Buy last night and had a blast! GameStop didn't do much of anything except for some bumper stickers, but Best Buy had a Gears of War 3 tournament before the release. We competed with some fellow Gearheads, earned some swag, and gave out my homemade cog cookies.

We also made an un-boxing video of our Retro Lancer Replica, Epic Edition, and Tritton Headset.

I wore my Gears T-shirt when I opened the package from Amazon.
Our midnight launch was AWESOME!!! We had over 160 people at the event, where 115 copies of the game were sold. People were dressed up, and super excited about getting the game. There were two tv's set up to play horde (gears 2) and there was a raffle to give away a bunch of Gears swag. Personally I took home the Retro lancer, the Epic and Limited versions of the game!!!
